Busy days
It’s been a busy couple of days at work, and on air. This past Saturday was Wallenpop, which we aired live from noon to 1 a.m.. I was there at 11 a.m. to help get started, and I was still there at 1:30 a.m. to take our makeshift studio apart again. It was fun though :-D lots of great music, and we managed to broadcast most of it.
The weekend before, we had our second pilot show for “Stappenplan”, in which we interviewed seven of the bands who performed on Wallenpop. It went a lot smoother than our first pilot (which didn’t air — this one did), and we learned not to plan so many interviews in a two-hour show :-)
Then on Sunday (the 12th) we had another live event to broadcast, a Powerhorse Competition in Rockanje. We were there for three hours.
And, as of last week, I am now working full-time. I used to work four days a week, and now I’m also working on Mondays, so even less time for mucking about. Perhaps that’s only for the better ;-)
